"A
Piece of the Pacific Ocean for $25"
October, 2005 - Los Angeles, CA, US…The claim to over 6 million
square miles of deep-sea bed in the East Pacific Ocean area, first established
in 1975 by Mr. Bob Schott, owner and founder of International SeaLand
Enterprises, of Los Angeles, California, is the latest trend in unusual
gift ideas. Schott, is referred to by his customers or 'Shipmates' as
he calls them, as 'Captain Bob, 'Robin Hood of the Seas' for his “claim
from the rich and give to the people” type approach to this project.
Schott has been entered into Marquis 'Whos' Who in America's 60th Diamond
Edition this year and coincidentally is celebrating ISLE's 30th Diamond
Anniversary of his 1975 claim that helped press the historic 'Third
World Law of the Seas' conferences into action in the mid 70's. Schott,
who has starred in numerous motion pictures and Television shows, such
as Clint Eastwood's "In the Line of Fire" and re-occurring
roles on the former "Knightrider" and "Simon and Simon"
series, has spent more than 20 years researching, developing and
compiling exact and pertinent data on this most sophisticated legal
project. Through a test market with Johnson Smith Catalog company's
'Things You Never Know Existed', Schott and Johnson Smith have sold
over 4,000 acre Deed kits. “If someone would have told me 4 years ago
that I would be selling property on the bottom of the Sea I would have
laughed at them”, says Craig Tarbeck, Product Director for Johnson Smith
Company. Schott offers a 1 acre deed kit for $24.95 and a 1 sq. mile
deed kit for $45 on his ISLE web site, www.sealand.tv. Schott also offers
a Resource CD for those interested in Oceanography. "I saw the
coming exploitation of this last frontier on earth so I claimed part
of it", said Schott.
ISLE's claim has been mapped and divided into sections and fully described
by legal dimensions. It was first established in September of 1975 by
giving notice to such entities as the Secretary of State, the United
States Ambassador to the United Nations, the President of the United
Nations, all major oil companies and major countries of the world. "The
United Nations has openly admitted that they considered the Deepsea
beds to be 'The Common Heritage of Mankind' over which they had no jurisdiction,
I just caught them sleeping," says Schott, “with all of the pressure
I put on their Third World U.N. conferences, they couldn't even agree
to pass one of their bills." It is because of the constant persistence
of Mr. Schott and the existence of new and ever present laws now coming
into effect, that now no one else, be it a person, corporation, or any
other entity, can establish even a semblance of a valid claim of this
sort anywhere on the ocean seabed in this last frontier. ISLE and Mr.
Schott's claim to this area of the deep sea-bed has been thoroughly
and competently researched by Mr. Oscar B. Ladner of Gulfport, Mississippi;
now retired. Mr. Ladner's record as a trial attorney earned him a listing
in 'Who's Who in American Law', now Schott joins him in 'Who's Who in
America'.In short, it seems Mr. Schott has a 'monopoly'. “This truly
makes the ISLE Deed Kit a unique one-of-a-kind gift item for the person
who has everything”, says Schott”. Although far more sophisticated,
ISLE'S claim is not unlike that of a prospector's claim to a gold mine
in the days of the early west. To this end, Mr. Schott has established
claim and subdivided its land beneath the sea into sections, available
now at very low costs Schott labels as “the most unique gift idea in
the world.” “You can give uncle Elmer another checkered tie for his
birthday or a piece of the Pacific Ocean with his name on it,” adds
Schott. Potential buyers can see what ISLE's customers have to say you
can view photos and comments from ISLE 'Shipmates' section, as Schott
calls them, at the ISLE website www.sealand.tv. Schott has sold acres
in almost every state in the U.S. and in numerous countries around the
world.
The ISLE Deeds come suitable for framing indicating one acre of sea
land can be purchased by directly off of the ISLE web site at: www.sealand.tv
or by sending $24.95 to International SeaLand Enterprises, P.O. 36773,
Los Angeles, Calif. 90036. There is even a 'Robin Hood of the Seas'
song produced and performed by Schott and his wife Lady Mears, or Lori
the ISLE Mermaid.. The ISLE Deed Kits have historical, educational and
novelty value to them, however, since the area of ISLEs' claim is limited,
deeds in the future are predicted to sell for a much higher price. While
Schott and ISLE imply only such title as they are vested with, and these
property Deeds are being offered and sold with no guarantee of validity
or warranties, a significant note is that the validity of his claim
has never been contested. “This is truly the most sophisticated Legal
issue in the History of Mankind and chooses to share these benefits.
This in effect, is Man's chance to take a chance!", says Schott,
“and to give a most unusual gift at the same time.”
